Ideal for space heating applications in commercial and industrial environments, our unit heaters are constructed for rugged use and easy to install. Unit heaters are able to heat small and large volume areas without requiring extensive duct systems.
Types
Cabinet unit heaters offer a combination of quality, efficiency, reliability, and flexibility. This type of unit heater provides quiet, controlled heat distribution and a variety of air inlet and discharge arrangements. Able to blend into almost any environment, CRC cabinet unit heaters are suitable for floor, wall, or ceiling installation.
Convector unit heaters are engineered for compatibility with hot water and steam systems. Available in numerous configurations, this type of unit heater works effectively in churches, hospitals, hotels, office buildings, schools, and similar spaces. A variety of cabinet enclosure options present attractive yet functional design concepts that blend into the surrounding environment based upon personal preference.
Blower Units
Blower units are typically installed where discharge ductwork is used and minimal operating noise is a priority. These are similar to propeller units, with the exception of utilizing a centrifugal blower to overcome the static pressure of the ductwork.
Duct Furnaces
Duct furnaces are designed for use with an existing heating system to supplement the air passing through the unit. These units monitor temperatures and automatically modify heat output in order to maintain the ideal temperature. Heat transfer is efficiently distributed only during a specified time to avoid wasted energy.
Propeller Units
Propeller unit heaters provide uniform heating for large open areas such as warehouses, factories and showrooms. These units are designed to be installed at least 8 feet off the ground, and are available with downturn nozzles that assist in directing airflow to the floor. Propeller unit heaters should never be used with discharge ductwork.
Horizontal and Vertical Steam/Hot Water Unit Heaters
Designed for ceiling installation, these units provide a convenient, low-cost method of heating warehouses, stores, factories, and other large spaces. Encased in a baked enamel housing, steam/hot water unit heaters are a complete heat distributing system.
Unit Ventilators – Floor or Ceiling
CRC unit ventilators, often found in classrooms, offer reliable, long-lasting heating, cooling and ventilation solutions for schools across North America. These units are cost effective and highly efficient, while maintaining a small footprint suitable for confined spaces.
