Condensing Coil

Condensing Coils are used in a wide range of HVAC&R applications and can be customized to fit the unique needs of our customers. Fin spacing and surface, tube pitch, circuiting, and design can be customized to achieve a high performance level, while maintaining air and tube-side pressure-drop limitations.

Condensing coils can typically be categorized as the following and are also available in a variety of tube and fin materials:

  • Desuperheater
This type of coil takes superheated vapour from the compressor and cools it down to a specific temperature above saturation.

  • Condenser
This coil takes the superheated vapour from the compressor and cools it to saturation. It then completely condenses all of the vapour into liquid, and continues to a specific temperature below saturation.

  • Subcooler
This type of coil receives the liquid refrigerant from a condenser and further cools the liquid refrigerant below its saturation point to a desired exit temperature.
